Scotty Baldwin one of our drum tutors, is currently in New York to record an album with The Rubens, a band from Menangle near Camden and Campbelltown. It is hoped to start promoting the album in April before it is launched at the end of 2012. Towards the end of 2011 Scotty and his mates, Zac,Sam and Elliott Margin recorded a song , submitted it to Triple J Unearthed, and won!! The band which is called The Rubens were then honoured to perform with some top professional bands at the Homebake Festival. On Australia Day their latest single "Lay it Down" was announced as the 57th "most-liked" song in Triple J's Hottest 100 . Josh Wallace joined the teaching staff at AGAPE in February 2012.
